Bird Control in Sorghum

Trials were conducted on both fallow cropped milo (sorghum) and continuous cropped milo in Kansas. A total of 81 acres of mature milo was treated with one pint of Bird Shield™ per acre two weeks prior to harvest. (Charts below)

In the fallow cropped milo, bird damage was reduced from 34% in the untreated to 11% in the treated, for a net gain of 21 bushels per acre.
In the continuous cropped milo, the yield of the treated fields was almost 4 times the yield of the untreated fields. In each case, growers received approximately $4 in increased yield for every dollar spent on Bird Shield™ and it's application
